Tip 6 - The Power of Silence
Silence can sometimes be the best form of communication. There are times when not responding, not calling our children out on their misbehaving can be way more powerful than berating them.
There is so much we can say without words… we can give reassurance and in silently say: I love you, I am here with you, I am accepting you. Learn how to be comfortable just sitting in silence with your children rather than trying to fill up space with words.
Self- Reflection:
When can you replace words with silence to promote more connection with your children?
