Managing big feelings

Learning how to take deep breaths or use other techniques to chill out can help us pause before we act and connect to the warmth and safety of our inner Light, which allows us to move forward without using words or taking actions that are hurtful to ourselves and others.
The Light is always present
When we face a challenging situation and have big feelings, we can feel scared, alone, and like being in the dark. But our Light is always there and available for us to feel comforted and safe again. Remembering that and using the practical tools to reconnect to it will help us feel empowered and strong.

Learning what is in our control and what is not can help us be less frustrated. We have no control over what others do or say. All we can do is focus on what we want to do, who we want to be, and how to shine our Light.
