These are some of the main concepts the lesson touches upon:

Getting to know my two inner voices

We all have two inner voices inside our heads that play an important role in helping us to overcome our fears and insecurities and shining our Light:

Our True Voice

and Our Challenging Voice.

Learning to distinguish between the two voices is an essential first step towards making better decisions and shine our Light.

Advocating for my Goals

We all have dreams and desires to do great things. But many times, it is our Challenging inner Voice that gets in our way to reaching these goals.

But we can learn how to keep going despite the doubts and insecurities and practice turning down the volume of the Challenging Voice and turning up the volume of our True Voice. The more we do that, the easier it gets, and the stronger we become.

Turning down the volume of the Challenging Voice

The Challenging inner Voice is strong, loud, quick to make us react, and brings up uncomfortable feelings of stress and unease. To help manage it, we need to learn how to pause and take a moment before reacting. A great tool to help us do that is Mindful Breathing.

Mapping out my Goals

When we map out our goals and the steps we can take towards them while practicing mindfulness techniques to quiet down the challenging voice, we gain the confidence we need to move forward towards our goals and shine on our Light.
